Old MacDonald Had a Farm

Most children are familiar with the song "Old MacDonald." In a recent workshop at The Learning Tree Store in Stoneham, the participants illustrated an "Old MacDonald" big book that I had put together for them. Some of the illustrations from that book are shown here.
Parents and teachers are encouraged to print out the lyrics for "Old MacDonald." Mount the lyrics onto 12" x 18" construction paper. Bind the book together and have your children and/or students illustrate the book.
Now that warmer days are returning you may want to visit a local farm so that your students can see farm animals and equipment up close.
