Take Chester Raccoon to School Path Game

Here's a Kissing Hand path game that I created from Shapes, ETC. cutouts and note pads. The products I used are small and large raccoon note pads, small colored hands cutouts, and the large tree note pad. For demonstration purposes I glued everything onto a legal file folder, but you may want to use a piece of posterboard so that you can create a longer path. Even if you use posterboard for the gameboard, I suggest you use a 1, 2, 3 die instead of a traditional 1-6 die. A 1, 2, 3 die has 2sides with a one on them, 2 sides with a two on them, and 2 sides with a three on them. Click here for the numbers to put on your die. Glue them onto a 3-inch cube.
The game is ideal for 2 players. Each child needs a game pawn. Both players start out with their pawns on the raccoons. They take turns tossing the die and moving their pawn alon g the path until one of the players reaches the tree (Chester's school.) The first player to reach the tree wins the game.
