Hats off to Grads

Hats off to Grads
This is the time of year to shop for awards, diplomas, and end of the year gift certificates.  This "Hats off to Grads" bulletin board (click on graphic for larger picture)  is a display you may want to create for the school hallway, auditorium, or other place where end of the year ceremonies may be held.  The hats were created by hot gluing a sheet of black posterboard to the bottom of a paper bowl.  The tassels are just loops of yarn that I have tied together and hot glued to the posterboard.  The diplomas are rolled up pieces of copy paper that have been tied with ribbon.  The streamers were created by cutting a spiral from a circle.  To give the display an additional 3-dimensional component the lettering "Hats off to Grads" is attached to the bulletin board with straight pins.
