Old Mother Hubbard's Cupboard
Carol Hartery's Free Activity Tools
Print out one copy of the "Old Mother Hubbard" reproducible for each child in your class. Fold each copy in half so that the words are on the outside. Open the folded page up and lay it on the table so that the words are on the back of the paper, touching the table. Take the left hand side of the paper, bring it to the crease and fold it. Take the right hand side of the paper, bring it to the crease and fold it. You should now see Mother Hubbard's cupboard and the rhyme is on the back of the cabinet. Have your students open the doors of their cabinet and draw the things that Mother Hubbard might have in her cupboard.. Or have your students cut and glue snack wrappers and other foods environmental print inside the cabinet. Enjoy!
