On December 6, 2009 the Art Gallery at The Learning Tree Store opened. This new venue features works from local area artists, children's' book illustrators, and crafters who have submitted their incredible creations to our gallery. Our slide show is a sampling of what you can see in the gallery.

Un-harness your creativity with Carol Hartery to create different cards for family and friends. Blank cards, decorative paper, and embellishments are provided. These classes are for personal enrichment and enjoyment; no PDPs will be awarded to teachers. Classes are for adults only.
Please bring your tool kit to every class. These materials will not be available in the classes. You will need a bone folder, cutting mat, pair of small sharp scissors, wet and dry adhesive, pop dots, paper piercer, piercing mat, stylus, metal ruler and mini glue dots. These are basic tools for paper crafters. For the crop sessions only, please bring your own blank cards in addition to your tool kit. Cards will not be supplied in the crop session.

Crop Time for Card Makers
Years ago people often gathered together to sew or quilt so that they could accomplish a task and socialize at the same time. We are launching a similar concept at The Learning Tree Store in Stoneham in our new program, "Crop Time for Cardmakers". Crop sessions are for social purposes and are not instructional classes. However, as you sit, socialize, and create you will learn new ideas, new techniques, and about new materials from the facilitator and other participants. Bring your tool kits and blank cards. You will have access to our paper cutters, paper trimmers, embossing folders, crimpers, decorative scissors, and paper punches. Scrap papers will also be available for you to use. Tea and snacks will be provided. You are welcome to stay for the full 4.5 hours or come and go as you please. The fee is the same no matter when you come or go. Preregistration is always required as class size is limited. Your tool kit should include blank cards as well as any other materials you use to create your own cards such as wet and dry adhesive, pop dots, scissors, bone folder, cutting mat. Those materials will not be available at the crop. Scrap papers are just what they sound like. Scraps of scrapbook paper that you can use to create your own Inchies, embellishments, backgrounds for a card, etc. Your fee covers the cost of using the room, using the tools we are providing, light snacks, and the facilitator’s time.
